First Sunday Socials on the first Sunday of each month at 9:45A.M.
Sunday mornings at MCC offers an experience that is both faith-filled and formative. All are welcome to attend our adult discussion group from 9:45-10:15 where we gather to study, reflect, and pray together before worship. The first Sunday of each month is our “First Sunday Social” where we enjoy snacks and fellowship together from 9:45-10:15.
What to Expect from Worship
- A warm, welcoming experience that feels like family
- Traditional hymns and familiar favorites
- Communal prayers such as “The Doxology” and “The Lord’s Prayer”
- A sermon inspired by the assigned scripture for the day
- A “minute for mission” where we highlight our faith in action
- An invitation to communion and weekly celebration of the Lord’s Table
If You Want to Visit
- You are welcome here! No questions asked! We all come from different backgrounds and diverse experiences. Simply bring who you are.
- Sunday attire ranges from comfy-casual to Sunday best!
- We celebrate communion each Sunday and hold to a practice of “The Open Table”. This means that all are welcome to participate. We welcome all to the table as Jesus did as an act of remembrance and a sign of our unity.
- Visitors are encouraged to sign our guest book or complete a visitor card should you like to learn more about us or set up a time to visit.
